Thursdays are InterpDays to us here at Glorious Trinity Ministry. We believe this to be a great first post for you to get to know us and likewise.
Every InterpDAY we will randomly select a verse or verses from the Bible for you to interpret in your own media and style. Acceptable media are:
Painting – You can use any type of paint you desire.
Drawing – Graphite; charcoal; mechanical pencils; colored pencils, ink, pastels and even a stick in the dirt are also accepted.
Photography – Black and white; color; video.
Film/Skits – Dancing; singing; instrument playing; recitations.
Writing – Prose; poetry; fiction; non-fiction.
Mixed Media are also accepted.
Rule #1: You only have a 10-minute time frame in which to produce this piece (drying time not included in time frame).
Rule #2: You MUST interpret the scriptural theme–we will not accept even the most amazing piece of art that does not fit this criteria.
Rule #3: Artwork must be submitted on the Thursday that the scripture is posted on Glorious Trinity Ministry.
Submitted videos should be uploaded to YouTube or any other video hosting service that you use. Comment on the post and insert a link to your video.
Other artworks should be uploaded to whichever image hosting site that you use. Comment on the post and insert a link to your artwork.
Be certain to include title, media, size (if applicable), and date/time submitted.
A small note: WordPress requires that we physically accept all comments. If your comment doesn’t show up after submission, don’t worry…it’s in our list of comments to be approved. You will see your comment when it is approved. This also makes the filtering process easier for us. If someone posts an unrelated comment, we can simply not accept it. It would be harder to delete the comment than to just not approve it.
